Abstract
A new trend at BGSU are the newly introduced campus delivery robots. A lot of people refer to them as being “cute”. But why is that so? Possible causes will be speculated such as pet resemblance or that they represent human characteristics. Throughout the presentation there will be examples and parallels out of the movie “Walle”. Human characteristics are the things that make us realize we are humans and it is important to understand how our feelings towards something unfamiliar like these delivery robots can be manipulated negatively as well as positively. After this presentation we might be one step closer to understand how or why we react the way we do. We will understand why we refer to a robot as being “cute”.
